This Orange Pale Ale Manhattan is a combination of some of my favourite beverages (i.e. This Orange Pale Ale Manhattan combines my favourite beverages (i.e. craft beer and whiskey). This Orange Pale Ale Manhattan is a great combination of flavours. The apple cherry spiced syrup elevates it to another level. You can also make the apple cherry spiced maple syrup if you are in a hurry or don’t have enough time. Dark Horse Brewery’s Rain in Blood Orange Pale ale was used for the beer. Any style could be used to make a great Orange Pale Ale Manhattan. It would help if you looked for beers brewed with fresh or blood oranges and possibly some orange juice. This beer cocktail is great for any beer style, so don’t be afraid to try it.

HOW TO MAKE ORANGE PALE ALE MANHATTAN-BEER COCKTAIL

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Whiskey
  • 1 ounce Apple Cherry Spiced Syrup or Grenadine
  • Orange Pale Ale (such as – Dark Horse rain in Blood, Sierra Nevada Sidecar Breckenridge Brewery United in Orange and Lagunitas Citrusinensis Orange Pale Ale
    • Cocktail Cherries
    • Orange Peel
    • Ice Cube
  • Directions:
  • Place a large cube of ice into each glass.
  • Add two ounces of whiskey to one-ounce apple cherry spiced syrup.
  • Add a large splash of Orange Pale Ale to the cocktail.
    1. Serve with orange peel and cocktail cherries.
    2. Serve.
  • Making Apple Cherry Spiced Syrup:
  • Ingredients:
    • 1 cup light brown sugar
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cinnamon stick
    • 1 whole Gala, Honeycrisp or Pink Lady apple
    • Three whole cloves
    • 5 whole cherries with the pits removed
  • Directions:
    1. Heat one cup of brown sugar and one cup of water in a saucepan.
    2. Two whole cloves, a cinnamon stick, and five whole cherries, with the pits removed, are all you need.
    3. To release the juice, use a fork to mash the cherries.
    4. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
    5. Mix the ingredients until brown sugar is dissolved.
    6. Allow the mixture to cool on the stove. Cover it with a tight-fitting cover and let it sit for ten minutes.
    7. Put the contents in a Mason jar. Please keep it in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
